Herbin 1798 Shimmer Ink, Amethyste de l'Oural

Herbin 1798 Shimmer Ink, Amethyste de l'Oural

This 50ml glass bottle of Amethyste de L'Oural ink features a rich, deep purple. The deep violet with the full, velvety tone of amethyst stone, satin-finished with a silver mist, offers a writing dress with sparkling effects of noble allure. Silver shimmer throughout the ink adds a beautiful, lustrous finish as you write. Each bottle is hand-sealed with wax at the cap and stamped with a "1798" emblem on the front. Packaged in a special collector’s edition box. Each rich, saturated color in the collection is infused with shimmering silver flecks, adding a touch of brilliance to every stroke.

1798 marks an important chapter in the history of Jacques Herbin. As the French Revolution came to a close, the company, originally founded in 1670, was entering a period of growth. That year, they relocated to expand their production and broaden the reach of their inks and sealing wax.
